Lisa grew up in Pittsburgh, PA.  She worked for United Healthcare in Pittsburgh as a claims processor/member service representative for eight years.  After leaving United Healthcare she worked for Three Rivers Health Plan, which is a Medicaid HMO health plan, as a claims processor.  She has extensive knowledge in the medical claims process that has helped her greatly working in this medical office setting.

During the past two years Lisa has taken medical administration classes at Wake Tech in Medical Office Procedures, Medical Terminology, and Medical Coding.

Lisa, her husband, and two children have lived in Raleigh since 2001.  She enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, going to concerts and watching her kids play ice hockey.
